We were honored to be a part of  Ala Moana Center’s 50th Anniversary celebration. We were asked to create a high impact, festive decor for Center Stage. We’ve worked on the stage before and this time wanted to have a bold look to match their advertising. Knowing that this event would be documented for posterity, the stage had to be transformed to create stunning photo opportunities.

It’s always challenging to bring 2-dimensional advertising campaigns into a 3- dimensional space.  Seeing the bold color palette and graphic design we did a literal translation to the stage backdrops.

I like doing puzzles, but on this large scale it was a tough task!

Once pieced together the white floor and background really popped the colors.  Check out our other Ala Moana installations to see the “before” of the stage.
